This Privacy Policy explains how CarepodUS Inc., trading as Carepod and hellocarepod ("Carepod," "we," "us," or "our"), handles personal information when you use hellocarepod.com or one of our localized storefronts, buy a product, contact us, request support, make a return, submit a warranty claim, or otherwise interact with us.

This can include obvious information, such as your name and email address, as well as information such as an order number, product serial number, device identifier, or IP address when it can be connected to you.

This Policy applies to Carepod's online store and related customer interactions. A third party's website, app, payment service, warranty program, or other service is governed by that third party's own privacy policy.

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Carepod. We aim to collect only what we reasonably need.

  • Account details, saved preferences, and account activity if you create an account.

  • Order and transaction details, including products purchased, order value, discounts, payment status, delivery information, returns, refunds, and purchase history.

  • Support, warranty, and return information, including messages, photographs, videos, serial numbers, troubleshooting details, claim history, repairs, replacements, and refund information.

  • Reviews, surveys, contest entries, marketing preferences, and other information you choose to submit.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, time zone, cookie identifiers, and similar technical information.

  • Website activity, such as referring pages, searches, pages and products viewed, cart activity, and interactions with our website, emails, or advertisements.

  • Fraud and security signals, including failed payment attempts, transaction-risk information, and account or checkout activity used to protect customers and the store.

Information received from other organizations

We may receive information from Shopify, payment and financing providers, fulfilment centres, shipping carriers, returns platforms, customer-support tools, analytics and advertising providers, warranty or protection-plan providers such as XCover, fraud-prevention services, and other vendors involved in serving you.

Payment-card information is generally collected and processed directly by Shopify or another payment provider. Carepod receives the information needed to confirm and manage the transaction.

  • To provide customer support, troubleshooting, repairs, replacements, warranty service, and product-safety communications.

If you do not provide information that is needed to complete a purchase or provide a requested service, we may not be able to process your order, deliver the product, respond to you, or provide support.

  • Warranty, protection-plan, repair, and claims providers, including XCover where applicable.

Our store is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information in a way that requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

United States

Residents of California and certain other states may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. United Kingdom

UK customers may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent.
